Our Programs

robotics 2.0

Become a robotics engineer.

In the next decade, robotic capabilities will expand exponentially, and robots will become an integral function in our everyday lives. What makes robotics so special is its place as an intersection between hardware and code, and, at Kinet-X, students will have the chance to dive into the fundamentals of both. Students will become electrical and mechanical engineers working with complex circuitry, sensors, construction materials, and design. They’ll learn to code robots and develop AI by developing skills in CS theory, autonomous systems, Arduino, C, and more. By the end of the program, students will have built their own robots and mastered skills to pursue college-level robotics. No age requirement. This program is highly customizable for whatever your skill level - such is the range of robotics.

Advanced 2.0

Take a leap in your tech education.

In our Advanced 2.0 program - a college level course - students will discover endless possibilities. Using Python, one of the world’s most versatile and widely used programming languages, students can explore applications in data science, web/desktop applications, and server work. Students will use Arduino and complex electrical/mechanical engineering to create awesome inventions, from self driving cars to security systems to games. By the end of the program, students will have created their own projects and mastered a skill set making them capable of working at any tech firm. No official age requirement, but CS knowledge is a prerequisite.

starter x

The best introduction into the world of tech for older students.

For students ages 13-14 with minimal tech experience, our Starter X program is your gateway into the world of STEM. Students will dive into the world of tech, learning both computer science and engineering. Students will learn front-end web development with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Then, with powerful, yet flexible languages like Javascript and Ruby, students will learn functional and object-oriented programming to create interactive web applications. Next, students will learn essentials of electrical and mechanical engineering like circuitry and electromagnetism to build projects from rocket security systems to solar-powered car fasters than humans. In just two weeks, students will have developed a comprehensive skill set and several amazing CS/engineering projects, ready for a successful future in tech.

starter s

The best introduction into the world of tech for younger students.

Between 10-12 but haven’t had any experience in tech? Our Starter S program is perfect for you. Students will start with the fundamentals-learning and applying the same skills front-end developers and engineers use everyday-from HTML/CSS to Javascript to circuitry. Students will use a strong foundation in HTML/CSS to design beautiful webpages, then add function with Javascript. Next, with circuitry and sensor work, students will learn the foundation for any electronic device, such as a phone or a speaker, and then build their own. By the end of the program, students will have created their own projects, including a personal website and a solar-powered car, and have mastered core fundamentals, ready for a successful future in tech.
